First aid at work requalification

This course updates the first aid skills for people who need to renew their statutory first aid at work certificate and whose existing certificate is still valid.

First aiders whose certificates have expired for more than 28 days must attend the full four day first aid at work course.

We offer Courses at our Training Centre in Glasgow and on site at your premises. Contact us to discuss all of your First Aid Training requirements.

This Two Day HSE Refresher Course is a requirement for those who already hold a current Four Day First Aid at Work Certification that is due for renewal. It is designed to keep your First Aid skills fresh and up to date, and to notify you of any changes in Emergency or Secondary Care.

It is a condensed collection of skills completed during your FAW training, and must be completed before your Four Day certification expires. Some of the skills refreshed include:

• Barrier Use
• Primary Assessment
• One rescuer Adult CPR
• Serious Bleeding Management
• Shock Management
• Spinal Injury Management
• Conscious Choking Adult
• Injury Assessment
• Illness Assessment
• Bandaging
• Splinting

Optional Additions.

We are able to offer training in the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) as an Additional Module at your request. There is a discounted rate for the AED Course when added to any of our other courses.
