HSE FIRST AID AT WORK

Course Description

This course is designed for employers/employees who will take responsibility for first aid in the workplace. It is approved by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) and certificated by Skills For Security. This course covers the full syllabus as recommended by the HSE (First Aid at Work Regulations 1981). A certificate will be awarded to candidates on successful completion of the oral and practical assessments.

HSE 'REFRESHER' COURSE

Course Description

The 'Refresher' course allows you to resit the HSE certificate before the expiry date of the award.
The course revises the content of the full HSE certificate. Practical and Oral assessments take place at the end of the course.

AED DEFIBRILLATOR COURSE

Duration: half day course

Suitable for staff working in environments where automated external defibrillators are available to use. The trainee will be able to demonstrate safe and appropriate practice when using an AED in accordance with Resuscitation Council (UK) guidelines. We believe passionately in improving AED access because it has been proven to save lives.

This course is more for low Risk Company's who needs to know basic first aid as there is no
immediate threat. It emphasizes more on adult casualties and Rules and Regulations; The course also covers Primary & Secondary Survey, Basic Life Support, Choking, Bleeding, Fractures, Burns, Shock, Causes of Unconsciousness and Moving Casualties.
