AED Defibrillator Training / Refresher Training

Course Aim

This course aims to equip the candidate with the skills to operate an Automated External Defibrillator following the current Resuscitation Council (UK) guidelines.

Who is the course for?

This course is for candidates who require training or refreshing in the use of the Automated External Defibrillator (AED).

Course Syllabus to include:

• Resuscitation
• Safety and legal aspects of defibrillation
• Life threatening cardiac rhythms
• Application and practical training in the use of the AED

Course Length: Four hours

Numbers: A maximum of 8 candidates can attend this course

Course qualification: On successful completion of the candidate will receive a certificate of attendance. This is valid for one year.
